I usually had a habit of defecating only in familiar places, and on the day the incident occurred, I went to the same place I always went.
However, the ground in the yard had weakened due to construction. A large hole suddenly appeared, and the puppy, Bruiser, fell in.
At the time, the owners, Nicole Michell and her husband, were away on vacation, and the dog, Bruiser, was being cared for by an acquaintance.

The pet sitter, shocked by the sudden situation, immediately contacted the owner and then called the local volunteer fire department for help.
Rescue workers arrived at the scene and immediately began an emergency rescue operation to find Bruiser, a puppy trapped deep underground. The hole was narrow and deep, requiring delicate work to extract the dog without harming him.
Firefighters dug through the dirt to widen the hole and after about an hour and a half of fighting, they were able to safely pull the puppy Bruiser out.

After the rescue, the volunteer firefighters shared their warm feelings on social media, writing, “We help not only people, but also precious pets.”
Fortunately, Bruiser the puppy was only frightened and suffered no serious injuries. Although covered in dirt, he limped and showed no signs of injury, and after returning home, he acted as usual, as if nothing had happened.
Owner Nicole expressed her deep gratitude to the rescue team, saying, “The next day, several firefighters called me to ask about Bruiser’s condition.”
