He’s basically a giant teddy bear who takes his job as Luna’s steed very seriously. Luna is the fearless little shadow playful, curious, and always plotting her next sneak attack.”
They added that when they’re together, both chaos and comfort are guaranteed. It’s like they were created to be best friends. Interestingly, the dog’s name, Koda, actually means “friend” or “ally”, which just fits his new role perfectly. Meanwhile, the kitten was named Luna, because “she’s small, dark, and mysterious like the moon.”
The owners also said that ever since the pair bonded, they are continually growing closer and closer: “Luna’s grown more confident and bold (sometimes too bold), while Koda just goes with the flow and is a gentle giant. They play, nap, and occasionally argue over who gets the best spot on the couch, but at the end of the day, they’re inseparable.”
It’s beyond cute, isn’t it? While in various media, cats and dogs are often portrayed as mortal or at least simple enemies, in this case, the trope doesn’t work.
