Chic!ken: High-Fashion Chicken Portraits by Monti and Tranchellini
Italian photographers Moreno Monti and Matteo Tranchellini have unveiled an engaging portrait series titled Chic!ken, characterized by an elegant, high-fashion aesthetic. The project features numerous striking portraits of chickens.
These photographs were captured on location during an exhibition, utilizing show birds that the photographers describe as possessing an innate ability to strike photogenic poses naturally. The creative team aimed to capture the subjects from various angles, including side views, rear shots, and over-the-shoulder perspectives, as Moreno and Matteo noted on their website.
The photographers celebrated these subjects, stating that these chickens are “natural posers,” displaying an inherent talent for moving gracefully in front of the camera, essentially being themselves.
