It was supposed to be any old Sunday, one of those that starts with the usual routine: wake up, get ready, and go to the gym.
However, instead of a normal exercise session, the young man identified as @_bielsfc on TikTok, found something that would completely change the course of his day – and the life of a stray dog .
While riding his motorcycle through the streets of Campinas (SP), he noticed a small ” mango lint ” puppy (affectionate nickname for dogs with hard, bristly fur, also known as “estopinhas”) wandering alone.
Without thinking twice, he stopped, picked up the puppy and put her in his backpack.
Despite the initial confusion, the little girl seemed relieved and ended up sleeping the entire way to her savior’s house.
Upon arrival, she was greeted with a warm bath and lots of affection. Within minutes, she felt right at home.
Excited about the rescue, the young man shared a video on TikTok showing the entire journey.
“Normal Sunday morning heading to the gym. I found this little puppy on the street,” he wrote in the caption, asking internet users for name suggestions for his new friend.
The video quickly went viral, receiving over 15,000 likes and 91,000 views. Many comments filled with praise and gratitude flooded the post:
“May God bless you for taking care of her. More people like you and the world would be a different place!” one person said.
“I love when I see these videos,” commented another.
Despite the instant connection, the young man revealed that he couldn’t keep the dog, as he has five other pets and a busy schedule, with little time at home.
But fate smiled on the little girl: the boy’s neighbor, who had long dreamed of having a pet, fell in love with her.
“Thank you guys for the comments, I’m so happy with my new daddy,” joked the young man, posting as if he were the voice of his daughter, who now goes by the name of Cacau.
Another “mango pit” at the gym
Recently, another moving case came to light, once again involving a mango pit that asked for help at a gym.
Internet user Aline Zola’s husband was at the gym when he found a stray dog, injured and huddled to protect itself from the rain.
Without thinking twice, the man decided to take him home.
“My husband found this little dog at the gym, sad, alone, hiding from the rain. Look what he did. He took him to our house,” Aline said on her social media.
As soon as he arrived, the dog was fed and given a new bed.
Despite this, he spent the first night outside, as the family wanted to ensure he was healthy before allowing contact with Théo, the other dog in the house.
Aline shared that the little one is undergoing treatment and receiving all the necessary care.
“He took Simparic as the vet recommended. He’s going to the pet shop for a bath and then he’ll go to the vet. He’s in a really bad way, but he’ll be fine soon!”
Although the name of the new family member has not yet been decided, he has already won a place in everyone’s hearts, including Théo, who seems eager to meet his future little brother.
“I’m focused on giving him the glow-up today,” joked Aline, referring to the transformation the little dog is about to experience.
