A story of love and resilience between a rescued dog and her new owners went viral on social media. Helena, who was afraid of humans, was adopted by Isadora and Jonas Fraga , an entrepreneurial couple who already had two dogs, Chloe and John.
After 30 days of living together, Helena finally felt safe and happy with her new family and slept peacefully in her bed.
Helena’s adoption was a surprise for Isadora, who was celebrating her birthday in a live stream on her personal profile when her husband arrived home with the dog, who needed a temporary home.
The rescue was mutually agreed upon by the couple, but Isadora never imagined it would happen at that moment. Helena’s arrival was recorded live and moved Isadora’s followers.
Helena was very afraid of humans, probably because she had suffered abuse in the past, but she got along well with her canine brothers , who welcomed her immediately.
She also benefited from the affection and patience that Isadora and Jonas had with her, and she gradually loosened up and became closer to her new owners.
After 30 days of adaptation, she finally began to sleep peacefully next to them, showing her gratitude and love with little licks.

With all this emotion, the couple who previously intended to find a permanent home for her, decided that they should keep her , so the family grew and today Helena loves the family she has and hit the jackpot .
“We’re a temporary home, but in her case, despite all the trauma, she’ll remain in our family. It’s been months of adjustment, and by the second day, we were already in love. We’d never dealt with a trauma patient before; she enchanted us, and now she has all the love and patience in the world,” Isadora explained in response to a comment.
In a video published on September 29th of last year, Isadora said that they knew they wouldn’t be able to donate her, also because no one else would have the patience and affection that they had.
The video was published on the canine trio’s social media, but the one in charge is Chloe, the oldest with the username @chloeeoscachorrinhos .
On Tik Tok, the post received more than 800,000 views, as well as 144,600 likes and 1,354 comments.
