Since she learned she was pregnant, Raphaella made a point of including the dogs in everything involving the new family member.
That’s why, at the gender reveal party, Bolt and Madá announced the baby’s gender. Dressed in blue bandanas, that’s how the owners learned they were expecting a boy.

Do you think it stops there? No, it doesn’t.
The pets were absolutely integral to everything involved in preparing for JV’s arrival.
What do you mean?
For every item purchased or received for the baby’s layette, according to Raphaella, “everything was tested and approved with great love by the canine brothers.”

Nothing was allowed without the seal of quality from the pet brothers. The dogs approved every product on JV’s list.
Bolt and Madá took this task very seriously, so they meticulously inspected everything.
Among the items tested were: a crib, changing table, baby carrier, nest, stroller, nursing chair, toys, and even the clothes, which they smelled individually to make sure they smelled fresh.
It’s adorable to see the dedication these dogs put into making everything perfect for their little brother’s arrival.
Watch.
Raphaella says she’s been passionate about animals since she was a child and, in addition, has helped abandoned animals since she was young.
Her dream has always been to have children and raise them with her dogs. That’s why she allowed Bolt and Madá to participate in the entire process of preparing little JV’s layette.
Well, now you’re probably wondering how the dogs and JV met after his birth, right?
It was so beautiful!

In a video, Raphaella shared five tips for introducing and including a newborn in the dogs’ routine. Check them out:
First: introducing the baby outside the home.
Second: including the dogs in the baby’s routine.
Baby approaches ‘giant’ Rottweiler holding the dog’s favorite toy and this happens.
Third: taking walks together.
Fourth: allowing the dogs to sniff the baby’s gifts.
Fifth: Don’t change some of the dogs’ habits when the baby arrives home.
Look.
There’s a lot of love involved in this family!
Without a doubt, Bolt, Madá, and João Vicente will be best friends forever.

Benefits of a child growing up with a pet
According to Michigan State University, growing up with a pet brings a number of benefits to children.
In addition to providing companionship and friendship, animals help teach responsibility, empathy, and compassion from an early age.
Children who have pets develop social skills, learn to care for other living beings, and often have a constant source of joy and comfort.
The presence of a pet can help reduce stress and promote a happier and healthier family environment.
