Love won! There’s no other way to explain the story of little dog Elza, who, even on death row, experienced a true miracle—through love.
It all started when the dog was bitten by a rattlesnake in her backyard.
In a moving account, tutor Tânia Tereza, who is a pastor, tells how it all happened.

In a video posted on her Instagram profile , Tânia talks about how Elza was – and continues to be – a warrior.
“Elza is brave, she killed the snake, a snake over a meter long, a rattlesnake,” he says.
In the images, it is possible to see the moment when the dog ends up falling, already hit by the snake’s venom.
She was taken to the vet, but unfortunately, there wasn’t much that could be done. Her life was in danger.
The pastor says that Elza fell into a coma and was already on the euthanasia waiting list. All seemed lost, but it was at that moment that “love won.”
The turning point came when Brutus, Elza’s inseparable friend, visited her in the hospital.
Elza not only recognized the dog, but woke up from her coma as soon as she smelled him. Can you believe it? That’s exactly what happened!
“Brutus, who Elza slept cuddling with in the backyard, was taken to the hospital where she was in a coma, on the verge of euthanasia. When Brutus arrived and she smelled him, his tail started wagging. He wagged his tail, lifted his ear, and came out of the coma,” says the owner.

It was an instant miracle! As soon as she felt the presence and scent of her best friend, Elza showed how much she wanted to keep living, in the most surprising way.
“LOVE WON!!! The competence of a team of professionals who, in addition to carrying out all the necessary procedures in a very serious case of poisoning of our little Elza, were sensitive enough to allow the visit of the love of her life, our Brutus,” wrote Tânia in the caption of the post.
Elza came out of her coma, escaped euthanasia, has already been discharged and is now recovering at home, surrounded by the love of her family and, of course, Brutus.
In other images, you can see the current condition of the little dog, which, fortunately, is much better.
“Look at Elza now!” exclaims the tutor, all excited.
Tânia also said that Elza is treating her eye, as the snake bit her on the head in several places, but she is responding well to the treatment.
“Look here, look. My little white dog is here. The miracle of love, the miracle of God,” says Tânia.
It’s a truly moving story, living proof of the power of love.

Of course, this case did not go unnoticed and moved thousands of people, who were moved by the bond between the dogs.
In just one day of publication, the video reached more than 6.3 million views, 612,000 likes, and 36,000 comments. Many people expressed their feelings, while others also shared stories of miracles.
“Love won and I’m crying a river.”
“The snake can’t even touch our pets!!!”
“I almost lost my Catarina… I prayed so hard that she wouldn’t go. A few months ago, she broke her leg, and I spent about R$3,000.00 on treatment. She’s doing great! Going up and down the stairs, much to my delight. Despite the criticism I received for spending that money on a pet, I give all the glory to God for providing me with treatment. God loves animals!”
Yes, for those who have faith, nothing is impossible. Elza proved this to us in a profound way!
