Analytics and advertising code loads together with the page. Where the law requires it, for example for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you are asked for your consent through a consent message before cookies are used for personalised advertising, and you can change that choice at any time through the same message. See the cookie policy.

Advertising

MoralFace is free to read because it shows advertising. Advertisements are delivered by third-party vendors:

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info or, in Europe, at www.youronlinechoices.eu. How Google uses data from sites that show its ads is explained at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

3. Who receives data

We do not sell personal data. Recipients are limited to our hosting provider (technical operation of the site) and the analytics and advertising providers named above, which may process data outside your country under their own privacy notices. We may disclose data where the law requires it.

4. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation or US state privacy laws such as the CCPA) you can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent you can withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. To exercise your rights, contact us through the contact form.

5. Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection where your host provides it, the admin area is protected by login with rate limiting, and we keep access to personal data to those who need it.

6. Children

The site is a general news service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. External links

Articles link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

8. Changes

We update this policy when our practices change. The date below shows the latest revision.
